Goal! Goal! Goal!

Ladies and gentlemen... GOAL! I'm 220 pounds and loving every minute of it! Great mother of Mary... I set a goal for myself and actually achieved it. Today I hit my goal of 220 pounds. It's taken 8 long weeks and a few setbacks, but I have now lost a total of 34 pounds!

Last week was my worst week on the diet... cheated, smoked, only worked out for 3 of 7 days. I was tired, grumpy, and on the rag. Sorry if that's TMI, but I'm layin' it all out there. Things were kinda stressful at work as well. But things have sure turned around now. I've hit my goal weight right on the nail and will be riding horses this weekend with my boyfriend as a reward.

I'm taking this moment to reflect on what I've acheived over the last couple months. I appreciate every bland ass protein shake I mixed, every egg substitute I fried in Pam, every nasty tablespoon of potassium. I'd like to thank my weight loss coaches, the doctors at my clinic, the girl who sells me more protein shakes and soups for the week, and every weight loss show ever to be aired on Discovery Health Channel. You've all been invaluable to me on this lovely but strange journey.

Now to reset my ticker. Ah, it deserves an entirely new design. Something blue. Have a good week everyone. :)

you sound happy - so im happy for.

Oh yeh, why did you post in it the Abrosia section tho??

4.25 lbs per week may be a light bit much for your size i'd say... some of that weight you've lost could be muscle too!

Bland protein shakes? why not try some new ones then?? there are literally tons of them that actually taste good, so try something new perhaps?

You say you are on a 'diet' which is something i hate to hear people saying...

it reminds me of someone basically doing things differently for 'x' amount of time and once they've reached their goal they will then STOP what got them there... doesn't make any sense... so i hope that now you are how you wanna be, you're gonna continue with the healthy routine so you remain as you are or even better than your are! :)

good luck..

Hi Wala and thanks for the support. To address your concerns about my weight loss, I'm on a medically supervised PMSF , so I'm drinking lots of protein shakes and soups, taking potassium, fiber, eating egg substitutes...etc. It's a fast, so I post mainly in the ambrosia section because it's the closest to the diet I'm actually on.

Hope I'm not sending the wrong message, as I'm definitely not starving myself and are not even hungry most of the time. But there are This part of the forum is basically dead, which I can understand. There aren't many people on this forum or otherwise that support such a drastic diet. However, it's working for me in spades and I'm sure it would for some of the heavier folks out there.
