I have purchased the GNC brand creatine monohydrate and whey protein....is it allright to use or is there a better brand?

Ever go to an Albertsons/Safeway and they have the "name brand" stuff and the "store brand" stuff which is way cheaper? It's the same stuff (literally, produced in the same factories) as the name brand -- they just put it in new packages.
I'm not saying this is what GNC does - I'm saying that GNC is able to charge more because everyone knows their name. In reality, GNC makes so-so products that cost 40% more than elsewhere - I definitely suggest checking out the web or independent retailers.
