Has anybody used any of the Amp products yet or am I the guinea pig ? If you have used any of them, what kind of results did you get. I know it all varies with each individual person but did it seem to help you any? Any more energy? Did you get more reps? More weight? More intense workouts?

I went into GNC the other day to get some more whey protein. While I was looking over a few options ( looking for something different than I had before because it was nasty ) an employee comes up to see if I need any help. So I explain to him what I was looking for. He then proceeds to tell me that the best stuff they have is the new line of " GNC Amp " products. This is an actual GNC brand product so I was a little skeptical. I figured he was told to push their brand of products over everyone elses, So I called him out on it. He said that he personally uses this stuff and swears its the best stuff out right now ( even over the more expensive products ) . So it turns out he is very good at his job because I walked out with over $150 worth of Amp products, lol.

I am going to really start hitting the weights so I figured I would get some stuff to help me get everything out of my workouts. So here is what I picked up and am going to try out-

Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 protein
Amplified N.O. Loaded
Amplified Creatine 189

I am going to start taking it tomorrow and I will report back in a few weeks with my personal results.

150 bucks!! That's my 5 months worth of whey supply!

AMP Wheybolic is a whey blend. Any good whey blend taken pre/post workout and for supplementation with food is always effective and a convenient way of adding protein to your diet. It has always worked for me to pack on some muscle mass.

I'd suggest you add some dextrose (0.4 grams x per kg of body weight if on a weight loss or more if on muscle gain) to the whey post workout (after weight training only) to get maximum results out of it. Your body's depleted glycogen stores and AMP's carbogen enzyme will ensure that the glucose is directed towards your muscles and not stored as fat. This will aid it muscle repair and recovery.

Creatine monohydrate works. I did the loading phase of 20 grams per day for a week and 3 grams every day there after. It worked like a charm for me. I was pushing more weight and doing more reps and still not getting tired during the workout.

However, it causes bloating, although this is due to water retention in the muscles. Anyway, I found this discouraging in my weight loss efforts and have stopped it until I reach my target body fat level. I might start supplementing with it again then when training for muscle gains.

AMP creatine 189 contains Creatine HCL. This is a new form and people are reporting mixed results in comparison with monohydrate. It should be as effective as monohydrate, if not more.

Amplified N.O. Loaded contains N.O. Charge Blend (must be arginine), vitamins, phosphates and creatine matrix blend. Never used this product or BSN No-Xplode which is similar to this product because there is no conclusive data on whether arginine increases muscle mass or whether Nitric Oxide enhancing supplements are safe for long term use.

I suspect it might work because of the creatine matrix blend in it. My analysis might be 100% wrong however. If I was you, instead of starting on AMP NO Loaded and AMP creatine 189 at once, I'd first take the creatine and then add AMP N.O. Loaded a month after.

This way I'd be able to know if AMP N.O. Loaded makes any additional difference or if it's a waste of money.

This stuff is working absolutely great. I could be in a commercial for this stuff with the kind of results I am getting in such a short amount of time.

I will post up a full review in a week with pics.

Gak. $150?

Personally I wouldn't use any of them. And why buy your whey protein from GNC - that's probably the most expensive place you can go for it. I get mine at costco, but there are tons of online sources where you can get good whey protein for 1/4 the price of what you'd pay at GNC.
