I recently researched gluten and lactose intolerance and recognised a lot of the symptoms in myself. I want to lose weight and I am hoping by cutting gluten and dairy from my diet it will help me. Has anyone had any experience with this?

If you suspect you have a problem with gluten and lactose, go to the Doctor and get a proper diagnosis, do not rely on Dr Google.

simply cutting food groups out of your diet is no guarantee of weight loss.

I personally follow a very strict keto lifestyle, which does work well and is healthy but is not for everybody, I also have a number of allergies including wheat (not coeliac) however this way of eating does require a dedication to meeting all nutritional needs and is no guarantee of weight loss as calories still count.

Gluten and lactose restriction will help you to loose a little bit of weight but wont be a significant amount, you need a detox program to focus on get rid of toxins and at the same time provide the nutrients to your body, after I did a detox program I was able to clean my system and loose the right amount of weight
Let me know if you interested I can guide

No No all detox programs are scam and I can prove to you if you want, you won't loose anything I just sharing what works for me and many people

This is not a peer reviewed study, it is a promo for the company, and little more than spam

if you dig far enough, it is only a study on intermittent fasting, not detox or the products from that company

Seems like you are offended because I shares something that works for me. I never used the name before of the article, I just state a detox program, however I know many natural remedies that don't need a peer study to be legit, because you need a peer study from de Federal Govermnet which are the pharmaceutical companies which are killing people with the chemicals, but you don't question them because you buy everything that they said. Sadly still many ignorant peoples like you around this world

And go ahead delete my account I don't care to be in a page with people are full of restrictions and stupidity but they don't questions the real bad people

I am still waiting for your proof ?

personal attacks do not win arguments lol

And where at any point did i suggest the use of pharmaceuticals ?

You can never fix stupidly, I don't argue with close mind people, keep believing in peer reviewed study, and you will be so far lol

:rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao:

it is rather silly to suggest a weight loss method which has no basis in fact.

again personal attacks on my intelligence or other characteristics is pointless

all I asked for was a relevant peer reviewed study, peer reviewed has nothing to do with the government. :beathorse:

For those interested in the science:

Detox diets for toxin elimination and weight management: a critical review of the evidence.

"Although the detox industry is booming, there is very little clinical evidence to support the use of these diets. A handful of clinical studies have shown that commercial detox diets enhance liver detoxification and eliminate persistent organic pollutants from the body, although these studies are hampered by flawed methodologies and small sample sizes."

Thanks for being the voice of reason, Tru. So many people dump so much time, energy and money into sham methods only to feel like they were the failures for not being able to achieve the promised results when they never had a chance at success given the bad method.

I noticed some effects of eating gluten after years of trial and error. I saw a gastroenterologist and he came to the conclusion that I had no celiac or any disease. He said if the symptoms are not as bad when I don't eat gluten, then by all means stay away from it.

Just taking out gluten and dairy doesn't mean you will lose weight. There is more to it than just that. Every person needs a certain amount of calories to maintain their lean body mass. It's important not to go too low on the calories for an extended period of time because you could hurt your metabolism.
