Glutamine?

What exactly is it supposed to be doing?

Do I need it?

I usually drink 2 Whey shakes a day, one between breakfast and lunch and a lighter one with carbs after a workout. I also take Creatine. Considering the shakes and a diet of roughly 180 - 200g protein daily derived from lean sources (mainly egg whites, chicken, and tuna) is there any point to taking this?

Thanks in advance for any advice. I tried looking around on the web a bit but most of what I got was people trying to sell stuff so obviously their opinion was questionable on the subject ;).
 
skip it. it doesn't work they way the supplement manufacturers say it works. its great for cancer/AIDS/severe burn victims...for a healthy person it just drains your wallet.
