Good afternoon, I am very excited to be part of a group of people all of the same mind. I have struggled with my weight loss goals for my whole life. I live in Las Vegas where it is virtually impossible to go a month without having someone you know come to visit. This in turns means of course you have to take them out to the clubs and restaurants which then means eating and drinking.. I think since moving here two years ago my husband and myself are at our highest weight. I am hoping to get back on track and find some like minded people that we can motivate each other and be successfull..

Have you started your journey? If so what are you doing? Personally I cycle a lot and focus on eating a balanced diet high in protein. Importantly though I still take in my treats; just less of them.
 
My husband and I have started our Journey today. I am very excited to start this and looking for as many tips as possible. I want to be able to reach some goals on a weekly plan and then a large goal by August. We have started with cutting out all sugar and most carbs. Adding in an hour of exercise each day.. I will keep posting and please any help is appreciated.

Hello to all, excited to be here. I have been struggling with my weight for some years now. I guess I started letting go of my weight once I got married and started living the good life (eating out, sweets, cakes, etc. etc.). Last year I decided that enough was enough and I started to change my eating habits and a little bit of exercise. I am down 25 lbs but have been stuck in the same weight (plateau) for many months now. I am hoping to get past that and finally be on my way to achieving that goal of being on my ideal weight.
