Hello,
I am glad to be a part of the community. I'm 48 years old, male and about 50lbs. overweight. I have been doing some interval-based walking for about an hour & a half a day (3.5 miles) and am drinking more water while eliminating other beverages. I work at a desk, and so lapsed into a sedentary lifestyle. I literally woke up one day not long ago & realized I had to make some real changes. I've been walking since last year & have quit smoking. I'm making the transition to a stationary bike now that fall & winter approach & I have been doing a combination of bodyweight exercises & dumbell exercises. Simply, making better choices everyday. Thank you for welcoming me to the community. I look forward to learning, as well as being a support.
