Getting started

Cheers

I'm a 46 yr old female, 5'4" weighing in at approximately 200 lb. Since my divorce (7 yrs ago), I have taken on a less than desirable lifestyle in terms of diet and exercise. Consequently, I have high blood pressure, I'm avoiding social functions, it's contributing to anxiety and low self-esteem.

As an end goal, I would like to lose 50-70 pounds. Due to my busy schedule, my primary excuse for not working out every day is that I do not have time, therefore, I'm having difficulty deciding on the type of workout getting started on a routine. I would love to learn of motivational tips, meal planning, suggestions for success, exercises and workout routines.

I feel best when my diet consists primarily of whole foods and avoiding anything processed. My family and I get bored of eating the same foods every week resulting in unhealthy food choices.

Please help.
