Getting my masters

Anybody know of any grants that you can apply for to go back to school. I used my pell grants and such to get to bachelor degrees, and need to look for different ways to go back this fall and get my Masters. Any Ideas?

Grants are really hard to come by when working on your masters. I carried a 3.75 and still am not able to get a grant. They don't give pell for a masters degree. So I'm now having to get stupid loans again as I start my masters program in June.

When I got my MS in zoology years ago, I had a teaching assistantship, basically a part-time teaching job. Other science graduate students had research assistantships which had no teaching responsibilities. Look into assistantships.

Hey, I'm going back this fall for my Masters too!

As for cash, have you tried your work place? Sometimes they have ways to pay a little or all of your tuition, and they rarely ask for that money back (even if you get fired). Also, talk to your advisor about getting a job in your field. On average, grad students make about 3K per semester working with whatever the school provides, and that could cover your cost a bit.

Word. I need to go back soon. Got my bachelors last fall, and a year off sounds appropriate. But having just bought a house...I don't know if I will be able to swing starting this fall. Anyhow, yeah, my company pays for half. So na-na-na.

I got a degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) B.S. and a degree in Strategic Communication B.A. I was a busy little bee...partying. lol Anyways, now Im working in an insurance office. They will pay 250 a semester, not much. West Texas A&M isnt really that expensive, and I dont have time to get a third job. I work two now... because I like to spend it. :)
