Getting faster fast!

Ive got less than two months to reach my goals that i want to obtain before fall cross country running starts. I want to get as fast as i possibly can with 2 and 3 mile runs. Does anyone have any suggestions.

interval training, fartlek, HIIT whatever you fancy

Here's something to read:

Check your technique

Don't forget to look at your running technique. I see many runners whose technique go to ruin when they attempt to increase their speed. Check you are'nt lifting your shoulders and pulling the head back. These actions will apply the brakes and make it harder for you.

Arm drive, tall hips, limited lateral rotation on footstrikes theres way to much to talk about for what information you have given in the start of your thread,

If you can control your breathing that will also help. You should inhale and exhale once for every 3-4 steps.
