I need to get into shape for the police academy, I am going to start next summer. Up until about two years ago I ran and lifted weights on a regular basis and had no problem with it. Then I had to get a real job and was going to school full time. Now that I am trying to get back in shape it seems a lot harder than it was before. I find that I can run about a half of a mile before I become winded. Does anyone have any suggestions on building endurance. I am open to any ideas.
