I need someone that is proficient with the Bowflex to advise me. About myself: I am a senior, senior of 76 years of age. I had a spinal injury a year ago, compression fractures and recovered nicely. I just completed Rehab and those guys really pushed me. They have told me to get into Physical Fitness (gym) or to look into a Bowflex (sport model) without fail. I've researched the Bowflex thoroughly and after checking out other brands I do lean to the Bowflex. I know they are big money, but no problem. My doctor told me I am in perfect shape for my age; he also rec. a PF program. I am 5' 7'' and my weight is 150 stable. I have been checked for every test imaginable, you name it, I had it and all negative. I do for an hour rough exercises every day and no problem. I can curl 40 lbs and do squats nicely as an extra. I would refer to my general health as excellent. What I need is some good prof. advise. My goal is to strengthen my shoulders, back, arms and legs. I want to add some flesh to my body parts (as mentioned) my legs are my weakest part of my body.I do not want to get into weight lifting; I went through that in my younger days. I lean very strongly on the Bowflex Sport model with leg extension. I'm sure I can handle it if I follow a moderate regime (at first) and do what I'm required to do. My wife would also like to use it for a slight weight reduction. I'm retired navy SCPO 27 years, Diver. I don't smoke or drink. Good shape. What can you tell me...Russ in Florida
