Hi, everyone.
So im 25 years old, 1,66m(5.44 ft) and i my current weight is 82kg(180,8 lbs). i've been struggling with diets since i was 15 and i've been up and down many times. I have always been trying extreme diets that would work only for a short time and i would gain back the kgs very fast.
Last week 2 different people in my workplace both commented that i ve gained a lot of weight, which made me really sad but it was also a wake up call. This time around i ve decided to visit a dietologist to help me lose the weight slowly and in a healthy way and hopefully not gain it back. This is also the reason i decided to start this diary. I need the emotional support in this journey but its often so tough to talk to the people around you when it comes to your fears or your low self esteem.
I will be updating my progress and i hope i will have your support and advice.
Wish me luck!!:D:DView attachment 26373View attachment 26371

Hi, Georgia & welcome to the forum. I'm sorry that people commented on your weight negatively. I think that's quite rude. You will get emotional support here. They are a great bunch of people! I have to go as we have family arriving soon to celebrate my husband's birthday. I'll be back soon xo

Thank you for your kind words, cate. Happy birthday to your husband!
I try not to let negative comments get to me and use it as motivation for my workouts too ;);)

Kudos to you, not letting negative comments get to you. Any tips for me?
It will be interesting to hear what the dietitian recommends when you see one. Losing weight slowly & in a healthy way is the best idea. I look forward to following your progress. Cheers, Cate.

I know it is still to early to tell but i think visiting a dietitian is a great idea. She has given me a diet plan that is easy to follow while also taking into consideration nutrition. When i used to diet by myself i would only think about calories,calories,calories...
Also because i keep having this crazy idea in my head that if i dont starve myself i wont see any results ,she helps me with that too ,explaining things to me and keeping me in track. But even now i keep thinking '' maybe if i dont eat this or that i will lose more'' or ''im not that hungry anyway''.
Im trying to stick strictly to her plan without doing anything stupid :p:p

Nutrition is very important, so it is a great idea to see a dietician. I wish I had done so years & years ago, instead of damaging my metabolism with stupid diets, when I was younger. Ignore that crazy voice in your head, hon. I would love everyone to not make the mistakes I have made. I am going to love reading about your progress.

Hey guys!:)
Today i visited the dietician to check the first results and im really happy. I already lost 2,3kg(5 lbs) in my first week.
The diet plan was quite easy to follow so i was really worried it wouldnt work. Im so relieved... I also feel like im eating really healthy now.
I just wish i could work out more but i was down with a cold the past 3 days. Of course there were times that i wanted to binge a little or even skip meals but i think i was able to stick to the plan quite well. Except for once that i ate a bit extra peanut butter, but i cant resist to that, its my favorite thing in the world :p:p

Hey, Georgia. Well done on the 2.3 kg loss! A healthy diet plan that was easy to follow & worked? Wonderful! :D

Goodmorning! Its been a a while since i updated my progress. Things have been crazy with me moving to another city and changing jobs.
I tried to stick to my plan as much as i could. I lost 0.5 kg the second week and another 1kg the third week so things are going well. Its a total of 3,8kgs in 3 weeks :D I can already feel the difference. I just hope i will be able to continue like that in my new home and more importantly during Christmas!!:eek:

Hi, Georgia. Well done! This plan is working for you & there is no reason why it would stop. 3.8 kg does make a difference. Keep up the good work :)
