Sport Garbage Snack Vs. No Snack??

Sport Fitness
A few times (when I don't plan appropriately) i find myself with minimal options for meals around 10am and 3pm. We have a vending machine with peanuts and some other healthy snacks, but sometimes they run out.

Anyway, am I better off skipping these snacks all together if i can't get something reasonably healthy, or should i just eat something to keep my metabolism going?

as long as its pretty infrequent, like, once a week or less, I'd just go for the healthiest snack you can get.

keep a can of almonds or peanuts at your desk or in your locker/personal workspace or breakroom if possible.

the difference between 100% and 90% proper eating isn't noticable. if you eat 6 meals a day, that equates to 4 meals a week that 'kinda don't matter if you screw up'. As long as you don't devour an entire pizza or drink a 12 pack of beer as 1 cheat meal, 4 x a week, you won't hinder progress, on a cut or a bulk.
it may even help regulate the thyroid, and it will keep you sane since you're eating all the same foods all the time.
