Sport Fruits and Sugar Level?

Sport Fitness
Hey guys, I've been off the forums for quite some time, heck, even been off the gym... I will begin in January again. But i have still been dieting and playing basketball alot, i've lost a few pounds already. But one thing that has me very concerned is my sugar... I've been consuming LOTS of fruit lately... Oranges, raisins, apples, bannanas, etc. They make me feel great, but they are high in sugar (though they have fiber). Im just concerned because, aside from having my fruits, im making small cheats by eating and drinking christmas food! :D There's specially one drink that im sure is UNHEALTHY haha, but tastes awesome... Called: "Coquito". Its very high in sugar, and contains alcohol... oh and its high in sat fat. But tastes great! So i was wondering, Should I cut down on fruits to enjoy the christmas food? Is it ok to have tons of fruit and enjoy some sweets at the same time? Help plz?

Yeah i know its horrible, but tastes soo good!! Just finished making some here at ma granny's place. Added some nice puertorican rum HAHA! :D Merry Christmas Derwy (and the rest of the folks)! Any opinions on my issue post up!

On the plus side, fruit has lots of fiber and vitamins! I would not stop eating fruit as a way to limit your "bad" carb intake. If anything I would eat more fruit to keep your fiber, vitamin and anti-oxident intake up. Nothing worse than fiber and vitamin deficiency to speed intestinal, liver, kidney, etc. damage.
