Hi
Newbie and i have a question concerning juicing/smoothies.
After trying various blenders unsuccessfully, wasting time with juicers I finally broke down and bought a Vitamix. Its a wonderful machine and is one of the few gadgets that actually performs at home as advertised. Anyways ive been enjoying a diet of green smoothies using the usual ingredients of strawberries, grapefruit, various berries, banana's etc but with a good dose of spinach, dandelion, kale etc. This has been successful but im getting a bit tired of the green thing, my question is how much difference do you think there is bewteen say a fresh grapefruit/banana/stawberry/pear/ water smoothie and the same ingredients in lower quantity but with a dollop of say kale mixed in ?
Is it the big dose of fresh raw fruit & veg that is critical in any combo or is the green component critical also ?
