You can get fat from anything. That said though, fruit should certainly not be something to avoid, as some like to make it out to seem.
 
I just don't understand how anyony could have a fruit-a-phobia. I love fruit!!:p So many varieties with so many possibilities. Fruit can be used in conjunction with meats, pastas, rice, potatoes, veggies. In sauces, as accents, you name it! I wish I lived in a place where I had better access to a larger variety all year round!
