From Skinny Fat to ???????

Hey guys I am going to get this started by introducing myself and letting you know where I’m coming from.

I’m from Australia, I am 21 years old and have always been interested in getting fit and having a great body but I never really had enough leverage to do it.

I wanted to be a personal trainer when I left high school and I finished my course around the time I turned 18, I then started my own business and it was a real shock how much work really had to be done and I ended up giving up after not getting anywhere quickly.

I always felt that being skinny made me less credible to be a personal trainer as I was not living the life I am teaching, I just turned 18 and was out drinking most nights, partying and chasing girls.

Throughout this whole time I was always reading up on weight training and wanted to become bigger, I actually learnt ALOT but I never applied it or at least when I did apply it, I only committed to it for about a week or two.

After turning 21 I realized this is what I want and I am going to make it happen no matter what. I created a blog to keep me accountable and to show others the path I must take in order to achieve my goals, I’ll make a post in a day or so about my goals so you know exactly what I’m trying to achieve.

Ill try post in here daily, I will also be doing more detailed recordings of my transformation with pictures etc on my blog which I created to hold me accountable to achieving my goals and not giving up.

For so many years I have never been able to stick to a workout regiment so I have decided to break it down into exercise goals so for example maybe I want to do 100 push ups in a row or reach 2x body weight deadlifts etc.

This may not be the most optimal path but it will mean I stick to it as I wont get bored

My first exercise goal is to be able to do a 20 set pyramid consisting of Chins/Pushups/Squats all body weight like this

Set 1 – 1/2/3 reps
Set 2 – 2/4/6 reps
Set 3 – 3/6/9 reps
Set 4 – 4/8/12 reps
Set 5 – 5/10/15 reps
Set 6 – 6/12/18 reps
Set 7 – 7/14/21 reps
Set 8 – 8/16/24 reps
Set 9 – 9/18/27 reps
Set 10 – 10/20/30 reps

Then reverse it and go back down the sets back to set 1 and it must be completed in 30 minutes.

I think you've just confirmed that you're a person, not a bot. This is good.

Where did you do your Cert IV in Fitness, if you don't mind me asking?

Completed the first 10 sets of the 20 set monster pyramid circuit, man its tough!

Feeling good today been eating well and drinking lots of water
