Frologic ~ Journey to Cut ~

I figured that there's no time like the present, to post my own progress thread. I want to start out by stating how much I love this site. I'd been lurking for a while, reading the info anyways so it was only natural for me to join. So please any comments, any tips, any critiques, any anything . . . let me know.

I don't know my stats. I know. That's like a fitness crime. But aside from my height . . a sexy 6'5", I haven't weighed myself in months. I don't go to a gym and I've no scale at home. I'll be sure to get one after a time so I can make this thread really accurate, but i'm not too worried about weight. I'm only curious so that I can calculate my fat%. . . anyways. I'm in pretty good shape. I eat well. I exercise 6 days a week. But I wasn't quite able to cross over in the right direction to reach my goals.

ex. I've a pretty built chest, and arms, and upper back. But the lower back (where all the fat I've got left) seems to sit, was doing the muffin top thing. It was driving me nuts. But I think I'm on the right track now.

Here is my ideal physique. Its one I feel that I have a good chance to obtain. Except my shoulders are a bit broader than this guy's, and my chest is a bit bigger, and my afro's better looking. But the main difference is in the abs.

His body fat percentage must be way low. But I'mma get there. My diet is kicking ass right now. I already had the muscle, I just needed to burn this damnable layer of fat. Next time I'll post my routine for critiquing, my diet, and any other progress i'm making.

hit me up

OHHH my legs!!!

OHHH my legs!!!

They're just so tired. I didn't do any strength training today, but I still did my biking. And those hills are kicking my ass almost literally. But damn my legs are tired. I wonder if if I'm not eating the right recovery food post workout. I've heard your supposed to have some kind of simple sugar, but i never did this morning. Instead I took a shower first, and made myself eggs with a few pieces of whole wheat bread. I thought the bread would help, it's been some days since i'd had any grains, but damnnnnnn my legs are tired.

good luck! at first I just scrolled down and saw the pic without reading and thought that was you and I wondered why you was even posting lol...:)

Good luck! Hope you succeed!!

Today is a rest day. It's also a carb day. It's hard eating things like wheat pasta and bread when my body's not as used to it. It makes me sleepy, which sucks because It makes it harder to concentrate on m work. But at least it tasted good. . . sort of. Most things taste kinda ordinary to me now. I guess because I'm not so focused on food or because I'm not so focused on elaborate greasy s***.

But I do feel tired, and I feel a bit antsy, like I should be doing something. ON days like these I get that itch just beneath the skin, especially in my legs. Like i can feel the muscles knitting back together.

Well tomorrow I can get back to the workouts I can hardly wait!! *gotta stay pumped up*

Found a scale and weighed myself. Turns out I don't weight anything. I thought I was getting bigger, but it seems like I've lost weight. I'm at 180.5 lbs, but I swear my arms are bigger. Maybe i had more fat on me than I thought I did or something.

Also I've had to cut my cardio in half. I was going really hard in the morning time for about 40 mins to an hour, biking on the trails and the hills around my neighborhood, but I was also going int he evening times just for kicks. An easier pace to see the neighbors and chill out and relax. Well My metabolism is kicking so hard now that I think I'm going to loose muscle if I do to much. I'm still going to go in the mornings for the same amount of time. I like the notion of working hard on a cardio exercise that I enjoy. But I can't do anymore.

I also have found out that I have to eat something like 3200 cals to maintain, 3700 to gain. I need to gain so that my muscle training isn't all for nothing. lol Anyways my abs are showing a little bit, and they're stronger. I just gotta be patient and have fun with it. Also I'm hungry like ALL the time

Well I'm not as hard on myself as I was in the past, and I'm better for it. If I don't eat that perfect meal all the time at every meal I don't beat myself up. As a result I have more energy b/c I force myself to actually rest on my rest days. I'm getting stronger, and my leg muscles are starting to get out of control b/c of the cycling. The abs are starting to pop but still not where I'd like them. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and see if I can tell anything noticeable at the end of the month.
