Frequency of HIITS

Trying to burn fat & tone: I have benn doing HIITS along with weight switching back and forth every 2nd day. So HIIts usually 3 X a week. Can I increase the number of days I do HIITS to help with the fat burn ? At what point will the number of days be too excessive.? How many days are recommended?
