Free Starbucks Coffee 3-15-07 10am-Noon

Next Thursday, March 15th, plan on stopping by your local Starbucks between 10am and 12 noon. During that time, Starbucks will be holding is 2nd annual Coffee Break. All company-operated and licensed Starbucks stores in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Greater China will be giving away free Tall (12-ounce) cups of coffee to anyone who drops by. Starbucks Coffee Masters clad in black aprons will be present during each of the coffee breaks to kick off the company's spring brewing sale and to answer any questions you might have about the coffee or coffee brewing. Last year, many stores used the coffee break period to sample some of their pastries out to customers waiting in line, as well.

yay for free starbucks :)

Note to self: just because it's free, doesn't m ean it's calorie free :)

Guess that gives me a reason to go to Thailand... oh that and "playing" with small boys.

Never got the coffee thing, it tastes like death and it burns, two things that aren't apealing.

Maybe I'm retarded or something.. I never even thought that coffee might have calories. .. Does it?

I thought it was just the stuff you put in the coffee that had calories. Hmmm here's my light bulb for the day.

Wow, how bizarre

I JUST heard about this very thing not 1 minute ago from my very excited Chinese co-workers. They are all tickled pink and ready to run downstairs tomorrow in a mass stampede. Weird that not even 30 seconds passed before I logged into the forum to find the exact same information....

Go Starbucks.... I guess. I wont go stand in a massive line-up for overpriced coffee, even if free, but man does it get my co-workers charged up....

Small world indeed... Free coffee in China, who'da thunk?

sirant

plus all the high fructose corn syrup a body could never want..

Ill stick with coffee :)

I have only had Red Bull once and it was once to many. Way too much HFCS. It gave me the shakes. I couldn't function for quite a while after I drank one. I will stick to coffee too!!:D

I recently had a 24 year old friend from high school pass away. They found out the cause of death was heart attack and most likely enduced by energy drinks. I don't know which ones or in what consumption amount, but that's just crazy. I guess most things are good in moderation, but that's the key, moderation.
