Hello forum.
This might not affect a lot of you, but I send a lot of PMs here and often times i go WAY over the 1000 characters mark. It really sucks to have ot break down PMs into 2 or sometimes 3 parts and wait a minute between sending them.
What are the odds of administration being able to raise that character limit up or remove it all together?

i can agree with this. it does suck having to shorten or break down pm's. i think if we can raise the character limit it would be very helpful as well.

But that pm thing needs to be taken up with the admin. I think that's how all vBulletins are, so I dunno if it can be changed without extensive modification.

I believe it is done fairly easily from the Admin Panel.

Well if your going to send a novel.. get there e-mail and send one of them.

Lot of people also have Yahoo.. AIM.. and whatever else there is.

I think 1000 chars is good enough to get a breif message.

Increasing the 1000 character limit I think would promote more communication which is always good. If you have to get someones email address, open up another browser to send the email, and all that jazz, it may deter people from actually communicating. Sad how lazy that sounds, but I think it is a reality.

I sent a PM yesterday and I had to break it up to 3 different messages because of the length.

It would be a big help to get the character allocation increased.

vBulletin is rather easy to change that allowed amount of characters in a pm. It can be done via the admin panel's board options.

If the admin would like help, please let me know, I would be more than happy to help.

Im not so keen on getting into emailing with a bunch of people, its so much better to have everything done here. Its not a question of laziness I dont thing.. More practicality.
