I found a great little book today at walmart called " The Calorie King- Calorie , Fat & Carb Counter.." It was only 5.97 and it lists everything.. It has alot of useful info.. and also has info. for Lean Cusine, Healthy Choice and then over 200 Fast food chains like McDonalds and The Outback and many others! Just thought I'd share!! :)

I use the Calorie King website frequently - its good stuff :D

hey thanks for posting that! i knew about the site but not the book. it might be good to keep in the car or something. like the other day i needed to find out how much a fat free french vanilla cappucino was from wawa. turns out it was 270 calories  . good thing i dont have those too often!

Thanks for the book suggestion. I count calories which I do pretty well with at home. It's eating out that messes me up. It would be great to have something in the car that I could look at before going in to McDonalds or where ever. I think I will look for it next time I am at Walmart. :)

sorry this is a bit off the topic but just at that mention of walmart...what exactly IS walmart? Im australian and i hear the name often but in different contents. Is it ur only kind of supermarket? Or a warehouse or something?

Its the worlds largest retailer.

wal-mart

Fattrapped666: check out walmart.com to see types of products covered. Some Walmarts are super-centers, stores that are both retail and grocery.
Walmart carries products at low prices, but does so by paying low wages to employees and offering little health insurance. Most (maybe all) of walmarts products are made in terrible working conditions by people making something like $2 a day.

I have the same book! Just ordered it through amazon.com actually. I didn't realize it was at walmart! I love it, it lists a lot of my favourite foods, and it's pocket size so I can fit it in my purse :) I also bought a pocket diary and put both in, and bring it with me everywhere, helps me realize what I am putting in my mouth :S sometimes its not so great, haha.

oh poor walmart people :( ive only ever seen it on that movie about the girl who has the baby in walmart...um...oh whats her name...natalie portman maybe? but yeah, thanks :) satiates my curiosity

also try out calorie-counter.com! it has as many choices as calorieking and you can make a free account and do calorie counting as well as cals burned in exercise! i use it and it also shows how much fiber, carbs, protein, sodium, and fat i've eaten, and gives me a grade on what i ate!

I have used calorie counter in the past... its a great thing.. can give u the cals on almost anything.
