I need motivation.

Ever since I've begun to make concerted efforts to lose a measly few pounds, I seem to gain a few more! Being short in stature, my small weight fluctuations are big in appearance. I want to lose the pounds, not simply to lose them, but to get back a healthy perspective on eating and my own fitness. Trying to keep myself accountable through this diary. Reading others' goals, their successes despite setbacks, and motivational tips seems really helpful here. Hope journaling works!

My eyes are bigger than my stomach. I love all foods, ESPECIALLY the healthy ones. My problem is I don't stop eating when I'm full. So even when I have an abundance of healthy snacks and food, I find myself having much more than a serving or two. Most days I count calories and know how much I'm taking in, but I've almost become desensitized to the amount of calories I'm consuming.

Today was ok. Just thinking about having to put into an online diary my progress made me slow down the process of thinking of what to eat next.

Being the student that I am, I'm off to study instead!
