food suppliment/ protien???

hi,

I am under-weight and doing body building exercises..

what should i use food suppliment or protien...

also please give me any good and great food suppliemtn/protien product name.

protein powder IS FOOD. its just a convenient form of protein, nothing more.

eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. limit your protein shakes to no more than 2 per day (one as a snack, one post workout is how I prefer it).

brand names: Optimum Nutrition, AtLarge Nutrition...only protein I buy.
 
Eat a balanced meal and then look at whey protein and creatine supplements. Egg whites are a good source of protein.
