Sport Food ideas for 16 year old

I have been lifting for a couple months now and have made great gains, but i want to go to the next level. This is why ive decided to change my crappy diet. I usually eat cereal for breakfast, fast food or whatever i can find at home for lunch, and whatever my parents make for dinner. I am 5'9" 127 lbs and i want to eat healthier foods and feed my muscles. Could you guys give me some ideas of things i can buy at the store that are pretty cheap? I have a job but i cant spend all my money on food. Thanks for the help.
 
Hey, man. I'm 16 too, and was sort of in the same boat you were in. Personally, the first thing you should check out is LV's Grocery list if you haven't already. Those are a good starting point. Secondly, invest in cottage cheese and protein powder. If you don't know already, you need to find your calorie consumption and since you want to bulk, add 500 calories to your diet. What is your diet like right now, man? You seem to be on the skinny side for your height.

thanks for the advice, it was really helpful. I joined fitday and im going to keep track of my current diet and then make a plan from there. Thanks again for the help.
