Food & Gym Tracking

OK so If I did this right you should all see the attachment I have uploaded. This is somehitn I did on excel and i have it on my desktop at work for easy access. *I have a rule if you cant count the calories or fat then dont eat it.*
I pre pack my lunch and so in doing this i am able to kee[p track of every calorie i intake. Before i even consume a coke i track the calories and time. I add everything up periodically throughout the day so that i dont go over 1200.
I go to the gym and do 45 minutes of cardio what ever i want, somedays its the bike and the precor some eliptical, I mix it up so i dont get bored. Yet what ever it is i keep my heart rate above cardio and make sure i push my self and extra 2 minutes everyday. THen i do all the weight machines from legs, abs, then arms. I strecth when i get home since i only have a limited time at the gym with daycare. They cut us off after two hours. Below is what my workouts look like when i am done. I also keep track of the calories burned. The precor and cycling burns more so i stick to them.
If i keep on track by the end of the day i will have really only eaten like 800 caloried since i will have burned around 400 or more from my workout and daily routine.

If it is comes in plastic dont eat it
8 -20flz of water
21 max grams of fat ( im usually way under )
1200 calories a day
NO eating after 5 pm!
45 minutes cardio- burning at least 400 calories however mixed up
45 minutes of weight training- which burns more claories how much i dont know exactly.

Well i have to get to the gym I will post my tracking tomarrow !

I hope you go to bed at about 7pm. This is one of the worst rules I have seen. How many days a week do you workout?

First off, could you tell us your height, weight, gender? about 90% of people need more than 1200 calories. Going too low on your calorie intake will cause you to go catabolic, which means you're burning up muscle instead of fat. That causes your metabolism to drop, which is bad. I'd say you probably need more calories. :)

Regarding the statement that certain machines burn more: the truth is, certain machines have calorie counters that say they burn more. You will burn calories based on how much energy you expend. Also, 45 minutes of cardio every single day is overkill.

No eating after 5pm is crazy. the longer you go without food, then lower your metabolism drops.

As for your spreadsheet, I'm sure it's great, but if you want, check out fitday.com. It tracks food intake, activity, etc., and you can set goals for calories and macronutrients to help ensure that you get what you need. Also, you can access it from any computer so you can access it from work or home. :)

Your avatar says you want to be 120lbs and you are 230 now. I'm going to be honest with you, if you eat like that, you're going to look like ****. Regarding you fat intake, fats aren't bad at all, and you should be eating way more of them. If you're a healthy male and eating under 100g of fat per day then you're malnourished.

2 hours at the gym on under 1200 calories? You're killing yourself. This is not healthy by any means.

Staying out of this one.
