Sport Food for work?

Sport Fitness
Now that I'm working full time, I need to find foods that are great for bulking, and easy to make.

I need a LOT of calories, and protein. When I've asked these questions before, people say "meat, rice and a lot of milk". Well rice is the only good one for work, I can't cook meat in a microwave, and milk will taste like **** when I have it 4 hours after I poured it.

You can't take a cooler satch? I have never worked somewhere or heard of somewhere to work where you can't take a cooler.

What I used to do at work without a fridge...was a cooler, a blue ice pack, and Gladware stuffed with each meal, readied in advance.

Often I did this at night, after my workout, I'd get the next day's meals all ready in gladware, and then just fill the cooler at 7am.

I cook 4 days worth of rice at a time, it keeps fine, and just scoop it out by the half cupful. Then weigh my chicken/beef/tuna out on the kitchen scale, add it. top it off with fresh or frozen veggies.

so of course, having a microwave at work is ideal. 60 seconds, stir, 45 seconds, done...EAT.

now, if yer eating tuna, I would not nuke that at work, cuz people tend to get all pissed off 'at that nasty fish smell'. Meanwhile they are nuking frozen salisbury steak dinners that smell like burning cat food, yet I don't whine back.

some people...
