Sport Food Advice

Sport Fitness
I am 34 years old, 5'2, 127lbs. I quit smoking 1 year 7 months ago. I only drink diet soda when out to eat (which is only once/twice a month). I drink coffee and water. I do not eat meat or eggs. My daily foods usually consist of kashi cereal, salads, fruits, nuts, crackers w/ almond butter or laughing cow cheese, string cheese, greek yogurt with granola. I do not weigh my food. I am a recovering bulimic/aneroxic and weighing my food can lead to obsession in which I do not want. Recently I was advised to add a protein drink, Myoplex Lite. I also take Trader Joes High potency multi-vitamin for women.

I would like to get down to 115lbs.

Any suggestions on what healthy foods I should have daily and health foods that I think are good but should really avoid would be greatly appreciated.

The foods you are is pretty good, except if you're eating Kashi cereal, I hope it's the GoLean version. That's really the only good one.

You're a vegetarian? Protein is not gonna be easy without meat and eggs. Why not eggs ?

Tofu is a good source of protein for you too, in addition to some beans.

Things that you may think are healthy that aren't:

Flavored yogurts
Lots of kashi products
Crackers
Low fat PB
Granola (could be healthy, but many aren't)

Crackers - even whole wheat crackers?
Low fat PB - how about almond butter?
Granola (could be healthy, but many aren't)
