Flax Seed Oil, Flax Oil: Difference?

Is there a difference between the two? Cause all I can find in liquid form is Flax oil. I can't find any Flax Seed Oil in liquid form. They're all in gel pill form but which would be better the pill or the liquid and is this a good thing to take if you're trying to put on mass?

Yes, I believe they're the same. I wondered about flax seeds and flax oil. I have flax seeds and like to add them to salad dressings and shakes but wondered if I'm getting the same benefit than the oil. the oil tastes sooo nasty.

@monty2589 Flax seed oil, flax oil, linseed oil..they're all the same substance.

@Sparrow, you are, if you are grinding your flax seeds into meal first. If not, they aren't being digested. You can easily throw a couple of cups of them in the blender and convert them to powder form (aka flax meal) so they're digestible. You can add flax meal to almost any of your healthy snacks/meals..shakes, salads, even use them as part of a herb rub/marinade for grilling lean meat (yum). You'll need to store your flax meal in the fridge in an airtight container where it'll be good for a week or so (in my experience) before it starts to taste rancid.

oh good, I do that cause I read about that somewhere else. I either blend them first and then make a protein shake with them, or I blend them with some olive oil, garlic and balsamic to make a dressing for salads or veggies
