Sport flavored water

Sport Fitness
im just wondering, unless im all sweaty and hot then i dont really crave water. so...im just wondering if that low cal flavored water can be a replacement? ive never actually tried to stuff before but, just a question for anybody else who'd like to know too.

Ive never had it. It may be ok, but I was like you, I detested water. I forced myself to drink it. Now, all I drink is water, and a caffeine free diet coke for lunch and dinner.

im beginning to learn that, if there is a water bottle around me, ill chug the water like no other. so...for anybody else who detests water, keep that in mind. its been workin for me

 iuno, i just usually pass flavored water up in the stores and always wondered about it. so i decided to ask if its any good or could be an equivalent to water

those flavoured waters are either high in sugar or high in aspartame which give me massive head aches and ive heard many bad things about the health issues with aspartame. my advice learn to love water get a nalgene and starta drinkin.

a site on the ill effects

a list of fda side effects

oh yeah, i know about the effects of aspartame. come to think of it, i hope its not in the orbit gum in chewing  phenylaline?? a alchohol sugar? same thing?

i remember i had one of those flavoured waters and i had the biggest headache for about 3 days. once you start excersising more you will develope less of a craving for sweets i know i sure have cant stand the sweets any more, now im addicted to excersise and water :D

the trick is to read up on what the garbage they put in there and then you realize what it does to your body and it just makes you sick thinking about eating those kinds of foods.

plus i know water boosts your metabolism and helps make you feel fulller.

Ive had the flavored water before and i didnt think it taste's good at all. I never used to like water either but now that ive been drinkin it alot for over a week i like it now. I drink that and diet sprite free (no cals, fat, sugar) but i only drink that mostly when im having a meal sometimes. I agree grammaton, Now that i look at some of the things i was eating i dont even want them anymore. Like mcdonalds frys for example, A large fry is 520 cals, 25g fat and thats just like half the meal! lol. I look at that and relize how bad the fast food stuff is for you.

What exactly is a nalgene? Im just curious
A Nalgene bottle is the best invention EVER.

You can get them at most sporting goods stores like Dick's and EMS (biggest selection at the latter). They are 32 ounces (1 litre) and are made of this indestructible plastic. Seriously - I was hiking one time and I dropped it off a water tower onto rocks and it didn't even crack. I put mine in the dishwasher everyday or every-other day to be sure it doesn't get nasty. You can also buy sipper-lids for the wide-mouth bottles so they don't spill all over you. A bottle is around $8. Totally worth it - my oldest bottle I've had for at least 3 years.

I love those things I got one at REI and carry it with me every where lol. As for flavored water I just squeeze some lemon into my water and adds a little bit of taste to it :)

the indestructable material they are made of is Lexan its rated as bullet resistant when thick enough around one inch the bottles i think are like liek 8th of an inch or quater not sure. the only way ive heard to break them is to put one thats full of water and drive over it with a care, or fill it up with water and drop it from about 100 feet on the bottom corner, so yeah its a wise investment and plus if they do break just send them in and in a few weeks you have a new one free (plus shipping and handling) but defently worth the $8 and plus they come is such nifty colours (and yes colours has a "u" in it!!)

ew, that seems like it would taste bitter, unless it had some sugar in it

Not bitter at all and no sugar just dont over do the lemon I use like 1 slice is all and its plenty for my 32 ounce water bottle
