Sport Flavored Water (For Losing Weight)

Sport Fitness
Hey guy's, I'm new to the whole burning calories / work out routine; however, I have been reading that drinking water can be very beneficial when attempting to cut some weight (in addition to obvious rigorious excercise) My question now comes here: I'm not a huge pure water fan, however I can do it. I've stumbled across Flavored Water Fruit2O, a no calorie flavored water, the ingredients read as follows:

Purified Water, CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF NATURAL FLAVOR, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium (Sweetners), Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate (Preserve Freshness).

Would any of the ingredients be inhibbiting to weight loss, or based on it's a no calorie flavored water beverage, can it really not hurt what so ever. I guess what I want to know is, I'm a huge pop drinker, trying to cut back, I can do water if it will aid me in working out and cutting back on weight (I'm not nessicarly overweight maybe 5lb's or so max), but will this Fruit2O drink also prove beneficial for cutting back some pounds like water would.

Thanks for your time and help

I highly recommend drinking regular water. Yet, I don't really see any harm in these beverages except that they do not include fluoride. If the beverage is overly consumed this could cause cavities. Also, these flavored waters are not any more beneficial than plain old water but hey, if you want to try it go for it.

I wouldn't buy or ingest whatever you listed that has those ingredients.

Stick to plain old water and try green/white tea.

I wish I liked plain water. There is the VERY rare occassion that I will drink it with lots of ice, but on the whole, if I want to get my water intake for the day, it's flavored...or I don't drink water.

I was like that not long ago. I would gag and sometimes puke after consuming plain water. After awhile it just become natural. Now I'm at the point where I'm always thristing for water. Just try it for awhile, plain water. I guess after awhile you still feel like you can't ingest it you have two options, 1) force yourself to drink the water, 2) drink the flavored water. If you pick option 2, just try not to drink a lot. He's not that harmful until you consume in high dostages. Also everything is in your head. It's how you look at it.

What you kick the soda habit for a long time but you'll forget about it. You will feel as if you don't want it. But once you start to have a few, you'll probably get big cravings. The same goes for water. Try it for awhile.
