Some of the cereals I eat have flax seeds in them. They usually settle out to the bottom of the box so the last bowl full or two are really full of them.
They're very difficult to chew on a one by one basis as I pull them out from between my teeth using my tongue. Tedious and time consuming, I don't get to chew each of them apart. Do the shells get digested so the nutrients rich innards can be digested or do unmunched seeds just get passed through my system?
