Fitness Plan Help Needed

Hi All,

I need some advice really here. Im bored of what Im doing at the gym and hence I am not seeing any benefit of it anymore. I will start from the begining:

In 2006 I weighed around 19 stone and lost 4 stone within that year by doing cross training (the machine). I also did muscle work so ended up with fairly big arms, chest and shoulders

In 2007 I lost another stone but focused more on the weights aspect and became what my girlfriend says is fit/hot. I guess it was an achievement losing a stone although I focusing on the gaining muscle

In 2008 I have been floating around the 14 stone mark and dont seem to of got anywhere at all in losing my flab that is left or gaining muscle. If anything I have lost muscle. I have however seemed to of gained a nice tone of pecks and then the top 'six pack' but i have a little flap and 'love handles' underneath so the rest is hidden

I now weight between 13.5 stone and 14 stone.

I am looking to do a half marathon in August this year so I have been focusing more on running on a treadmill. I have done the following:

10km: 57 minutes
5km: 29 minutes
1 mile: 8 minutes
1km: 4 minutes

I was previously doing spinning for 45 minutes - 1 hour, three times a week on average

I did weights about 5 times in two months before Christmas

--------

My diet is as follows (usually)

Wake Up
Breakfast: Cereal
Water
Lunch: Small Meal
Water
Snack:
Water
Dinner: Meal
Water
Maybe a Snack
Bed

My day is split which can only benefit me really. One week I am on earlys, the next I am on lates so I either go to the gym at 7am or at 5pm

Height: 185cm
Weight: 13.5 stone

Bicep Curl: 35kg
Single Bicep Curl: 15kg
Bench: 90kg
Dips: Body Weight +
Pull Up: 70kg
Peck Deck: 170lb
Single Fly: 22.5kg
Lat Pull Down: 140lb
Row: 150lb

Based on the above can anyone recommend an exercise plan to help me get back into the swing of things and back seeing the benefit of the gym. Ive tried creating plans myself but never seem to be interested in fulfilling them as they seem wrong

Cheers

Welcome. I am also training for a half marathon, but mine is in April, so I am under more of a deadline than you are!

First, water is not a snack, lol! Water is great, and you should drink lots of it. But if you are trying to lose weight, the greatest lie out there is that if you starve yourself, you will lose weight. Almost always a guaranteed fail.

With that said, check out some of the stickies on the site. And good luck!!

True starving yourself will actually make you put on weight easier in the future because it slows down your motabalism so does skipping breakfast.

I forgot to add these are the top 3 Site That Helped Me Reach My Goal Physique Within Weeks.

All three sites offer 24/7 support. Instructions and full plans and tables. I highly recommend these 3 companys.

Good luck on your journey and i hope you reach your goal as quick as i did.

Sean.
