Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and just wanted to share a little about myself.
I'm a 24 year old student from Kansas State studing Kinesiology. (the study of human movement) I love to do things that are physically challenging. So in other words I'm not afraid of a little sweat.
Before going to school, I joined the navy and I am now considered a inactive reservist. The navy is what gave me the drive to stay in good shape and drove me to take better care of my self. I went into the navy when I was 19, I weighed 145 pounds soaking wet and my idea of a work out was 12 ounce curls with the fellas. The day my active duty ended, 4 years later, I weighed a cut up 200 pounds and never felt better.
I can't really credit the navy for me gaining weight and looking the way I am now. It took allot of work, and allot of trial and error on my part to know what I do now about the human body and excercise. I've been out of the active navy for 2 years now and still have a stong mind set to stay in shape and share my knowledge with others.
My work out plan now consists of cardio 3 times a week and weight lifting four times a week. I work out extremely hard but I usally only work out for a hour at a time.
If you have any questions or tips you think might be useful just let me know.![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
