Im an avid runner and I try do 3+ miles a day. Ive been slacking a bit mainly because Ive had so much to do...but thats besides the point.
Anyway, I was in GNC the other day looking around and I came across the heart-healthy section. Fish oils and various other supplements that specifically targeted the heart. Alot of this was to maintain arteries and allow better flow of blood etc.
Would these have any effect on helping a runner? Or are they more of a preventive supplement for someone a bit older than 22.
Any advice?
