Hello everyone, as you can probably tell from my username, I'm bill. 21 years old and hoping someone can help me. I started at 260 and now I'm at about 230. I'm going to the gym almost everyday burning anywhere from 1000-1500 calories and only eating about that as well, sometimes less. I know I'm technically in "starvation mode" but shouldn't I still be losing weight ? I've been at this weight for a little bit now and it's not budging. I really want to get down to 170, but obviously I'm doing something wrong that I'm overlooking. Any suggestions??
Thank you

Welcome Bill.

You are not helping your progress by under eating by so much along with possibly over training at the gym depending on the design of your training program. calories and exercise are important bot there is more to successful healthy weight loss than this.

More detail is needed, what does your diet consist of ? What does your training program involve ?
height and bodyfat % information is also helpful.

Diet recently has been mostly tuna, salsa, and black beans, red kidney etc.. before it was whatever just had to watch the portion sizes I'll have some protein bars as well but only 200 and under Cal's and 1 or below grams of sugar. Gym is almost everyday if not every other 4mph at full InCline anywhere from 45-90 minutes, 2 days of the week I'll dead lift for a couple of reps. And I would say I cycle anywhere from 2-15 miles a week. My height is 5'8 BMI I think is 34ish?
I'll have a day of what I want, but even then I'm not breaking 2500 calories

As far as actual health wise. It been great. It's brought my BP from 140/70 to 121/60 and my resting heart rate from 92 to 59

I know my answer can sound not seriously. I believe that what can help you are definitely cold showers in the morning because they increase fat burn up to 120%. Also drinking a lot of green tea helps in improving metabolisim.
