Sport First Thread-Healthy Meal Replacement for Muscle Growth

Sport Fitness
Hey all,
This is my first post on this forum as I have been reading many of your helpful posts. I go to school and work 4 days a week and I do not have time to stop in between school and work for lunch. I was wondering if any of you knew of a specific Protein bar (or whatever) that helps with muscles growth. I currently wakeboard 2x a week (pretty much a full body work out) and supplement that with gym 1-2x a week as well. I am a very skinny build, but I am looking to build up my core and chest area. I am not interested in losing weight since I am under-weight by most standards.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all!

probably a protein shake (a whey + casien blend would be best), and a handful of unsalted, unroasted nuts...about an oz. of them.

Try this, it's got all the right proportions of protein, carbs and fat:

1 cup plain, fat-free yogurt and 1 cp skim milk or 2 cups milk.
1/2 cp 1-2% cottage cheese
2 tbsp natural peanut butter
1/2 scp choco whey or casein
1 pkt fat free, sugar free hot cocoa mix.

Blend until smooth.

then search the forum for homemade protein bars. there are some great recipes on the site. plus they're better than store ones cuz you know exactly what goes in them. they're good too, i've made some before.
