First Post, Noob question.

Hey guys. This is my first proper post and Im straight into the questions. Basically, Im looking to build muscle mass (not too much) and tone up. Im 6' 2" and 181 lbs if this is any help. I find it very hard to find time to workout as my work is very hectic which brings me to my question. Is it better to do a few short intense workouts throughout the day or just a good hour long wourkout in the evenings? Im a complete noob to this workout business and only have a barbell and dumbell set. Cant afford GYM membership as Im trying to save as Im getting married next year. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

You can get a good workout in 20 minutes a day 6 days a week if you don't have a lot of time. Pick a dozen exercises (one for each major body part). Do half of them one day and half the next day, alternating. Perform 2 sets of 12-15 reps for each exercise with a 90 second rest in between to start. A good selection would be something like:
Day 1: Pull up, push up, bench press, barbell row, overhead press, curl, triceps extension
Day 2: squat, deadlift, calf raise, situp, leg raise

That sounds good. 20 minutes is a great time frame for me. I just needed a bit of guidance to start off in the right direction. And a nice easy selection of excercises too. Thanks very much for the reply!
