First Day Here

Hello. Glad to be here and hoping to get some good encouragement for weight loss. I am a wife and mother of two. I am very discouraged that I have let myself get this heavy. I am also very proud of myself for making some good changes to my eating habits.

I have been slowly correcting bad habits and have lost 15 pounds since about the middle of February. That seems slow, but I am hoping that losing it slowly rather than very fast by using fad diets will help me keep it off. I'd like to pick the weight loss pace up ever so slightly right now. I've started doing Pilates about 5 times a week (a 20 minute workout) and walking when I have the time. (I didn't mean to just promote Pilates - is it okay that I said that?)

Anyway, I can't wait to get plugged in to this community.

You sound like you've got a good head on your shoulders and are on your way to a slimmer you! Congrat's on your weight loss! Thats great!

oh, and its totally fine to mention the pilates or anything, like lean cusines, ect. We just consider it spam when some people leave a link to a site that wants you to buy their products.
