Hello everybody!
I started visiting this site early this year. I stumbled upon this forum when I began my weight loss plan and was engaging in compulsive Google searches on topics like "weight-loss", "before and after" "BMI calculator" ,"ideal weight" etc. I'm sure many have been there
Unfortunately, I started out wrong; starved myself and over trained. I went from 236 lbs to 180 lbs in 4 months (46 waist to a 34) which I am proud of but I am paying the price now for the extreme measures. After averaging over 9 lbs loss monthly, the weight loss has come to a complete halt.
I'm male, 5'8" so 180 lbs is still too chunky at 26~27% body fat.
I've upped my cardio routine and started to lift weights and eat healthy but much more than before (initially, due to ignorance, I only took in 1000 calories a day !!
) And the weight loss has stopped completely. I do feel healthier and my waist size seems to be getting smaller at a sloooow rate so I'm not too worried. A little discouraging though. And what's with this shar pei look!
Anyway, that's kind of where I am now, still a long way to go. My target weight is going to be where I look and feel my best. I'm assuming around 165lbs. Thanks for reading this long post and thanks for having me.
