Sport FF's nutrional logic?

Sport Fitness
What do you diet science guys and gals think of this? I think of things like this becasue it seems that once I understand something it helps me cope with the feeling better. And I am ALL about the experience. Thus how I feel makes a big difference.

Typically I put in 120-180 minuts of sweat 6 days per week- for real.
I eat ALOT! all clean, no, but good nutrition, you bet!

SO- on recovery days, I try to eat less, but it seems to me I am starving all dang day! I mean HUUUUUUUUUUNNNNGRYY- GRRRRRR!

Here is my logic- since my body does not have the swim bike run to work at accomplishi9ng, all it has to do is process food, and work on fixing up my muscled and oxygen and acid levels to get ready for the next "strain." Thus it empties the stomach and hunts for nutrition.

Is that why I am sooooo hungry? I do not cut my food alot, but I stop eating the pita and peanut butter, and not so much cottage cheese.

I also think my not eating the gels (carbs) makes a difference too.

I STARVE ON RECOVERY DAYS even thopugh I am stll eatng.

oh hey, I probably only drink about a gallon of water too, verses a gallon plus alll that I drink during my workouts.

shooot--- at sme point I am going to have to break down and count calories aren't I?

oh well, thank you for this session. check is in the mail.

What do you you eat on recovery days?
And how often do you eat?

Yep, your glycogen stores and to a lesser extent fat stores were depleted and your body, which is always fearing starvation (a holdover from our early days as hunter-gatherers) triggers sensors that tell you you are hungry and to eat like a mutha.

not sure why you would cut your food intake on a recovery day? since it is repair mode, you would still just eat the same, gain some weight in the prossess and then after a few months, go diet and burn the aquired fat from the prossess.
why you feel hungery is what G8 said just a body function makes you think/feel you are.
- edit - yes i suck at spelling

I don't really eat less by soem sort of planned deficit.

BUT- if I am on a training day, I will typically ingest 4-6 gels (100+ cals each) plus a food bar if (400 cals) on bike in early am, and maybe a shot blox (200 cals).

I really can't see eating that "expensive" food when I'm not out training. So that is maybe a 1000 cals shorter, and the reduced water intake- but also I am not sweating.

NOW- leave ma lone so I can eat!!! LOL!

kidding about the leave me alone part. I just don't like the feeling of being unsatisfied. It almost makes me want to go run- just so I can be comfortable. sorta weird. It may be a spiritual or psychological, verses science issue. Of course if you have no spirit that makes zero sense to you.
