Few Questions, need opinions.

Okay so I just got on the forums tonight and don't know where this should go but I figured this was a okay spot. I'm 15 years old about 6"0 and weigh 200lbs. I would like to get cut and down to 180.I've been working out for the past month or two but have yet to lose a pound. I've had a solid workout that I feel comfortable with and I have seen gains in the fact I'm lifting more then when I started a month ago. The questions I'd like answered are I use no supplements like creatine or even a protein shake before or after, so I would like to know what supplements i should use? Also If anybody has a diet they would recommend for a 15 year old feel free, because I know this is why I'm not losing weight. I do cardio everyday before i workout and it feels great to know i'm getting stronger but at the same time a little frustrating I'm not losing weight. I know most people will say do more cardio and less weight and more reps but I am already doing this. So what I'm asking for is a good diet, recommended supplements, and just any tips.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the long drawn out post.

Forget about how much you weigh, you may have lost fat, but you may have added muscle, which will counter the weight loss.

You don't need supplements, try eating things like good quality tuna and chicken, don't eat high carb foods after about 6pm.

+1 to Cas. You can play around all you want with combinations of cardio & weights but the bottom line is you have to consume less calories than you need to lose weight. Reduce your calorie intake but keep your protein high and you will see the results that you are looking for. Again, don't use the scale to track your progress, use how you look and feel as the measure.

okay, appreciate it. I would like to get on a low calorie diet, but it's hard for me to keep track of my calorie intake. but i do appreciate the help.

No need for more cardio, if you can get a on a sound diet and work that in with interval training, you will lose weight and put on some muscle. Do not worry so much about how many calories you are taking in, focus more on what you are eating and when you are eating.

I just don't know what kind of diet to get on, do you recommend any?
