Weight-Loss Feeling Thinner

I have been eating much healthier the last week and as a result I "feel" thinner, not as bloated I guess would be the right wording if I had to pick. Is this a sign of improvment or just wishful thinking? I haven't touched a scale so far even though I do need to so I know what I'm working with, maybe tomorrow morning :)

It's definitely possible...you may well be less bloated. Also, I happen to feel thinner right after I exercise. :D

Lots of people feel this way - I don't know how much of it is for real, or is in their heads, but I know that the other way around; if I eat something bad (I munched through a big fatty bacon bap a few days ago) that I feel grottier later on.

I remember that there was this one time I woke up, and I felt as if my stomach were smaller; I don't know if it was, but it definately wasn't being jiggly that day.

As long as you feel thinner and better about yourself, that's the important part! The weight loss will come with time. After a sweaty workout or a very nutritious meal I feel great and "thinner", even though I may not have lost any weight.

I'd guesstimate that a reduced sodium intake and therefore water retention might have something to do with this feeling, but as long as you are feeling good, it helps your motivation. :D
