I'm thinking about doing the Nutrisystem meal plan for men... mainly because I work a lot and this would be much easier for me to have prepared food that I assume is low carb.

Just curious if anyone has had success losing weight with this or similar plan, and should I consider some other plan other than Nutrisystem ? Thanks.

That site doesn't seem to offer any solutions and just speaks to the problems that could be caused by being over weight which I'm already aware of.

I guess nobody here wants to comment on meal plans... maybe they are worried about being sued by the companies that offer such programs er something.

I'll continue looking for solutions online. Thanks anyway.

Yeah, I'm really leaning towards not going thru some of the popular meal plans advertised on TV because they all seem to want auto payments from a credit card and they want one to sign up for a certain amount of time with an early cancellation fee if you cut off the credit card auto debit authorization which all seems to be tilted in their favor and not in the consumer's favor.

I'll keep digging elsewhere online and see if I can find some DIY meal plans which I'd imagine will cost money which is fine if it's reasonable.

I have no experience of meal plan food & that is why I haven't replied. I wouldn't be afraid of being sued. I really mostly eat home-cooked food, but cook in advance & freeze meals as well. I actually don't know of anyone who does buy pre-prepared meals, except for the ones in the freezer at the Supermarket.

i'm not on a no-carb diet, only a very very low sugar diet combined with intermittent fasting. i shopped for maybe 9-10 days of meals yesterday. it took less than an hour. this morning i got up and in less than an hour i made some hamburger patties to freeze, diced up some fish for ceviche and cut up and prepped a bunch of vegetables to steam or broil over the next few days. if something takes me more than 10 minutes to cook up, i'm not interested. ok oatmeal takes about ½ hour, and rice maybe 15-20 minutes, but i make enough to 4-5 meals.

being a little imaginative and diverse in food prep is a lot of the fun of eating. i couldn't imagine pouring something out of a box when i have little idea about what someone else is putting in.

good luck...gary
