Hi. I'm looking for a few ppl interested in a weight loss challenge or whatever you call it on here.

Yes this is EXTREME (like the closed thread lol) but not that extreme. I would like to lose about 70 lbs by or before December 31st. is that not extreme t actually lose 70 lbs? LMAO (chill mods! :D)

I was thinking to split my goals in 3 or 4 sections:
By July 31st - Lose 30 lbs
By October 31st - Another 20 lbs
By December 31st - "​

then 2011 - Maintenance Challenge :)

I am 20 and female, but i don't have any preferences when it comes to age or gender of partners! LET ME KNOW IF U ARE INTERESTED!
 
I'm down for joining another challenge. Thirty pounds down is almost exactly where I would like to be by the end of July.

That being said, the mods might move your post to the challenge section.

So what do you plan to do to lost the 30 lbs? :)
 
I'm 28 pounds down as of today so I am going to continue what I've been doing so far.

No junk, no fast food, overly processed foods, unnecesary chemicals, etc..
Basically things that just aren't really food.

I also plan on rejoining my gym by the end of the month. I'm a fairly active person, but have done no direct exercise to help with my weight loss so far this year.

What's your game plan?
 
a whole lot of walking/jump roping and i am gonna try my luck at muscle building!! i wanna do that whey protein and some strength training too!!

yeah the eating is another matter altogether.. i dont eat super bad but i dont eat good at all... i was waiting to eat right first before i started exercising but i been waiting yearsss now so... screw that, i'm jumping into it right now and come what may after that!!

so i am aiming for more that -1.5lbs a week, taking pics, measurements and writing everything down!!
 
It's good that your really motivated, but just remember, it's much more important how you eat then how much you exercise.
 
well to me, both the input and the output is important...
i think i will be able to balance them both though... soon enough.

i know so much.. its just time to start making smart decisions and stop being lazy

I'd like to join you on your lose 30lbs by August challenge.
I'm not sure that i'll be able to achieve that because i'm keen to lose weight steadily and keep it off rather than lose it quickly and just put it back on again..

but let's be buddies and inspire eachother.

I was slouchy for the past few day. haven't done anything.. except 3 days of badminton (totally 9 hours) this week :/
Me and my friend begin W1D1 of the couch to 5k running plan tomorrow (well, later today :/) and i thought i should drop in! been sooo busy with school i haven't been even close to my computer lately!!!

sigh! i am so tired i need to go to be (1 am). I will drop in again later today and hopefully have a chat :)
 
id love to join you, im aiming to loose i guess you would say 30 pounds by mid july id love to get more off but ill keep my limits and just aim for 190-200 by july, that would be a feat all in it self to getsome where i havent been in 4 years.
 
Completed W1D1 of the C5K... busted my ass!!
i was so short of breath... sigh.. well
W1D2 tonight :/ pray for me ... :D
 
I wanted to join in yesterday but I was so busy!

I also have a goal to reach 198 by the end of the year, I've lost 14lbs so far. BUT I have been secretly:leaving: hoping that I could be 198 by the beginning of October...SO I am challenging myself to lose 60 lbs by 10/01/10 :D Ahhh heck I'll make it 10/10/10 just for fun :p It's an ambitious goal I know, but I'm willing to challenge myself to do it!

Well that's 60 lbs in six months.. you never know tho. as long as its healthy no prob!

Just checking in on you to see how the C25K is working out for you Dania. I bought a magazine for runners yesterday and it is AWESOME :D It has some tips for beginners in there so I will be checking it out. I wanted to buy an elliptical, but the weight max is 250 so I'll wait until I'm 220 or so :D BUT in the interim I think I will subscribe to this magazine :)
 
Hey Dania! Haven't heard from you in a bit...just wondering how you are doing! I was awful last month, but stuck with it at the end of the month and lost over 5lbs that week. Hoping this month goes better for me!
