Every day here on the forum I deal with spam promoting and selling this Diet so I felt it was time to take a closer look.
The Author
The Author is listed as ex-Marine ‘Kyle Cooper’ however this is a scam, Kyle Cooper the marine author does not exist, the Author photo is a doctored photo from a stock photo site ( Dreamstime ), the same goes for his family photo (Alamy ). Sharon Monroe a pinup success story of the diet does not exist she is the product of more doctored stock photography ( SarahReynolds )
The real author is an internet billionaire Wesley Virgin, the author and known scam artist who also wrote
There is also a hidden YouTube video of him boasting.
Testemonials
The testimonials in Fat Decimator are stolen photos which were doctored to conceal their real origins (Often before and after shots stolen from sites like this forum - Always watermark your before and after photographs). Not only that, but some of these same testimonial photos are also used to market scams like the 2 Week Diet.
The Diet
After reading the diet preview, you will discover it is re-write of his other diet book.
The diet itself is a poorly designed Protein Sparing Modified Fast to be done over a 3 week period. While a PSMF diet is effective but the way it is written here is not only unhealthy but the book is filled with fake science mixed with a small dash of real science to boost up the hype.
While the advert for this diet push the idea of no exercise, the diet book does push exercise as part of the diet, while this is not a bad thing it is false advertising
To make further profit the author pushes assorted overpriced supplements, making even more profit from his desperate customers.
The diet also pushes what is known as a Stack, a stack is a selection of drugs to be used as a fat burner, the most common stack is an ECA stack, which consists of Ephedrine, Caffeine and Aspirin. In the case of this diet book the Stack is Ephedrine (illegal in many countries), Caffeine (some are sensitive to this, all stacks with caffeine use a large dose) and Yohimbine (A vet drug, also used to treat erectile dysfunction. can cause a dangerous rise in blood pressure, as well as anxiety and other side effects, Prescription medication in US)
Effectiveness
Will you lose weight doing this diet yes
Will you lose fat - minimal if any
The weight loss over the 3 week period of this diet is Water Weight which comes from cutting out carbohydrates, this is regained when the diet is stopped.
Cutting carbs can be a healthy way to lose fat, it takes more than 3 weeks to see actual fat loss and needs all the other factors in your diet to be correct so as to avoid nutritional deficiencies.
Alternatives
