Fat causing chemicals in household products

Hey Everyone. I would like to point out that there are certain chemicals in our food supply, water supply, and the environment that increase stomach fat by stimulating our bodies to hold onto it.
These chemicals are called xenoestrogens , these are found in pesticides, herbicides and petrochemicals. They have an estrogenic effect inside our bodies. Unfortunately these xenoestrogens are even found in household cleaners and cosmetics as well, making them near impossible to avoid regardless of whether you eat organic or live in a relatively low-pollution area!

interesting thought. Can't say i've ever heard that, but pretty sure no matter how you look at it, those chemicals are bad for you.

Yes these chemicals are bad for you. However you can combat these xenoestrogens with certain vegetables, teas, spices, etc that have compounds which can help to fight there effects.
The best class of vegetables for this is cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, kale, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, etc. They have unique compounds (phytonutrients) such as indole-3-carbinol (I3C), which can help to combat the effects of xenoestrogens in your body.

The cruciferous veggies are also great cancer preventers. I'd also get plenty of asparagus in there too.
