Fast weight gain (fluctuation?)

Hey,
I have a question:
so, I have been eating right and exercising a few times a week and it worked well, I have no doubts about that.
Now last sunday (I weigh in on sunday) I weighed 65.3 kg. On thursday and friday I was fooling around and decided to weigh myself, I weighed 64.5 kg (-800g) on both days. I was very happy of course.
Now today (my weigh in day) I weigh 65.2 (+ 700 g from friday). I did eat some chocolate cream on friday on a birthday party and a couple of spoonfuls of nutella, but otherwise my calories were in my range of 1200 to 1500 per day. And I exercised as well!
Is that weight fat? My scales are those fancy ones that tell you % of fat and water and both percentages have not changed (the fat one fluctuates between 28.7 and 28.8), but I am aware that those things tend to be rubbish.
Could it be that I am a full 700g heavier because I didn't poo since friday (I know TMI)??
Thank you all for your help, I hate how rollercoasty this weight loss is!!! Camy

Matter in your bowels has mass, so it's possible... 700g worth of possible, perhaps a combination of that, water and food in your system. Do you weigh yourself with any clothing on because that will alter your weight as well. Did you wear glasses during one weigh in and not the other. Did you shower before your heavier weigh in and not completely towel off. Or.. perhaps you gained muscle.

I wouldn't sweat 700g. As long as you're honest with with yourself about your calories and you're certain you're in a deficit, you'll be fine. This is a long term goal, not a friday to sunday goal... know what I mean?

Hi :)

I once weighed myself before i went to bed and i was 3lb (over 1kg) heavier than i was when i woke up 6 hours later...lots of things can affect this! i worried like mad but at my weekly weigh in 3 days later i was down 4lbs! the weird and wacky world of weight loss....lolll

u can fluctuate by up to 2lbs (about 850g) depending on the time of day that you weigh yourself, the amount of matter in your bladder and intestines and u will prob have retianed some water too. 700g is nothing to worry about!

maybe try just weighing yourself once a week and compare results on the same day and time? very tempting to do it every day but if it demoralising you then its not worth it!
