A friend of mine will be competing in Iditarod Invitational commencing March 1. His name is Bob Struble, 58 from Pittsburgh, PA. 350 mile run. This my new goal to train for in 5 years (assuming he survives). I have attached a like to the invitational website. Check it out..this event will be awesome.
 
WOW that looks crazy.
 
Crazy in a good way. Some of the precautions they have to do we take for granted. Like getting into the sleeping bag right after you finish the days run so you have built up heat for the night...lol no holiday inns on this trail.
 
update

the race is three days old, my friend Bob Struble is currently in 6th place of those competing on foot.
